Sojourns
Are A Great Way
To
Learn About Your Local River

June
is “Rivers Month”. To celebrate Rivers Month, and to raise awareness of
our local rivers, a variety of sojourns are scheduled for 2005.
Each Sojourn is different in the type of programming available, and the logistics
of the paddling trip. Sojourns are perfect family trips, as they cater to all
age and skill levels. All include environmental education, and after a
day of paddling, evening activities include presentations, campfires, storytelling
and singing and other festive activities. Some people participate for
a day or two, others for the entire length.
